Renew

  • Want to renew your materials via the Web? Select My Account below the OneSearch field on the homepage. This will take you to a login screen where you will enter your CUNYID and password. Once you are on your account page, go to Loans and select Renew for the book(s) you would like to renew.

If successful, a new due date will appear . If you do not see a new due date your book has NOT been renewed. Please note: If you have overdue items or, if there is "a hold" on the item you wish to renew, you will not receive a new due date.

  • Overdue books, videos, music CD's, juvenile books, teacher's resources and reserve materials cannot be renewed.

  • Books will not be renewed if there is a block on your record.

Request

Request Items through CLICS (books from any CUNY campus):

  • Search for the item through OneSearch.  If it is not available at Hunter, Select CUNY Libraries from the dropdown menu on the right side of the search field. You will be prompted to log in with your CUNY ID to request a copy from another CUNY Library.  If you wish to pick up your book at the Cooperman Library, be sure to select "Hunter" as  your pick up location.

  • The system will not allow you to request Hunter books to be held at Hunter unless they are checked out, then the book would be held for you when you return. If the desired book is on the shelf, you must go to the shelf to retrieve it.

  • The total number of CLICs loans a student can get is 50 and the total number of checkouts per day is 10.
