Food, Beverages and Cell Phones
The Hunter College Libraries are responsible for providing an environment
that is conducive to research and study and that is protective of
library materials. Unfortunately, food or beverages are not compatible
with a research and study atmosphere, attract unwanted "visitors"
(mice, roaches, etc.) and can also damage library materials and
equipment. Therefore, users with food or beverages will be asked
to remove these items from the libraries immediately.
Recognizing that cell phones can be disruptive within a research
and study environment, we respectfully ask you to turn off your
cell phones within the libraries and that you make your telephone
calls outside of the libraries.
Thanks. We appreciate your cooperation!
