Interlibrary Loan

ILL/ Interlibrary Loan: Graduate students gain access to materials, journal articles and books*, not owned by Hunter College via interlibrary loan. This is a totally free service. However, some items can take up to two weeks to arrive. Most journal articles arrive within a few days. There are three methods for completing requests:

1.  Forms to request interlibrary loan are kept at the 4th floor reference desk and are to be turned in at the 3rd floor circulation desk.

2.  Fill out an online form at http://library.hunter.cuny.edu/forms/ill/index.php

3.  You may also email interlibrary loan requests to illhc@hunter.cuny.edu

One item per email with complete bibliographic information:

a) Book - Author, Title, Publication Date, Specific Editions if necessary; or,

b) Journal Article - Title of Journal, Volume, Issue #, Date, Pages, Title of Article, Author of Article ; and,

c) Your Name, Your Status, Your Library Barcode, Major/Department, Phone, Fax, Home Address.

*For books owned by other CUNY libraries, please use CLICS to order them.
